Century Furnitures new - Fall offerings- bring the colorful splendor of our feathered friends indoors.
Perhaps it is our desire to take flight from these down times that has us all looking to the trees for inspiration, but birds have always captured our imagination and throughout history have driven us to ponder, dream and invent.
At home this October in the Century Furniture showroom are a range of feathered friends from noble, teal infused peacocks to more hunt inspired pheasants. “I think what is unique about the bird motif in home textiles is how it stretches from whimsical prints to a more subdued and handsome palette. We really gravitated to these fabrics but for very different customers and audiences,” says Laurie Reed, Creative Director for Century Furniture. “Birds have always been fashionable in home décor and we are seeing a renewed interest as women’s fashion themes have put them once again in the spotlight.”
