Century Furniture’s decadent new Chocolate finish,
available on virtually all wood pieces, is “comfort food” for the decorating soul.

High Point Furniture Market (October 2008)—What do you crave when you’re feeling stressed? If you answered “chocolate,” join the (guilty yet satiated) club! Yes, there is something about this decadent sweet treat that soothes the troubled spirit. That’s why it’s no surprise that the National Confectioners Association reports candy sales have increased during these intense times. It’s also why Century Furniture has chosen to add Chocolate, a luscious creamy brown enamel, to its lineup of finishes.
“Brown is a rich, sensual color that feels luxurious and comforting,” says Edward M. Tashjian, Century’s VP of Marketing. “And we could all use a little indulgence.”
Century’s Bonnet Top Armoire, above, is drenched in Chocolate and detailed with silver leaf pinstriping to provide glamorous contrast and highlight the seductive curves. The hottest color during the Fall 2008 International Home Furnishings Market will be chocolate brown enamel, and Century will be showing a number of pieces in this decadent hue.
